Soap Making Workshop for Teens (10+) and Adults
Artisan soap crafter, Renee Britten of Cast Iron Soaps, provides her inspirational naturalist insight to an introductory handmade soaping class.
Customized soap designs are heartfelt gifts or selfless indulgence body treatments. We will explore the melt and pour method and then, advance to a hand-milled hot process maximizing the aromatics. Natural botanicals, colorants, and essential oils will embellish our handmade creations.
* Request that students bring a protective long sleeve pullover for skin protection from hot materials.
Students will take home creative-inspired soap bars. Additional workshop soap bars can be purchased.
