“Sunflowers” with Soft Pastel workshop by Tetyana Aleksenko

During this 1-day workshop with award-winning pastel artist Tetyana Aleksenko, we will learn how to paint realistic flowers in soft pastels. The emphasis will be on learning how to make yellow or orange flowers glow from within. Tetyana will discuss paper choices, color theory, edge work, and composition principles. You are welcome to bring your own reference or work with Tetyana’s reference. Tetyana will provide each student with a step-by-step print-out of this sunflower painting and, as always, all supplies provided. The workshop is suitable for artists of all levels.
