OPEN STUDIO WITH LIVE MODEL
Starting September the 16th continuing every other Tuesday.
• Time: 6:00PM – 9:00PM
• Price: $10/ Per session (with instruction/critique $15)
• Your Host: T.W. ‘Pops’ Vanya – Long time local artist and award winning painter will
be conducting these evening sessions. He brings years of experience and will give
feedback or critiques and instruction if asked during or after each session if
participants request.
• Over View of Sessions:
• The first hour will consist of 1, 3, and 5 minute poses.
• The second hour will consist of three 10 minute poses and one 15 minute pose.
• The third hour will consist of two 20 minute poses.
• Materials:
These are recommended, feel free to start with just pencil and paper if
you haven’t done life drawing previously. Unlike a painting exercise these materials
are very reasonably priced.
• Drawing Board (masonite or 3/8 plywood) large enough to clamp your drawing pad
or paper to.(Lowes and Home Depot usually have precut sizes available.)
• 2 Small Spring Clamps to hold drawing paper or pad to the board
• Pencils: 2b, 4b, 6b (recommended)
• Small pencil sharpener
• Conte Crayon stick (Black)
• Conte Crayon stick (Sepia)
• Charcoal
• Erasers: Nylon and Kneaded
• Stump: (rolled paper) for blending
• Drawing Pads/Paper: recommend 16×20 or
larger, 18×24 seems about the best size
• Fishing Tackle Box to hold the above…
• Degallery does have easels available

Open Studio Open house: Monday – Friday 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Open studio with live model: Every second Tuesdays 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm, 2 times per month
Monthly and Yearly Memberships
Take advantage of a one-month Open Studio membership for only $150, or just $15 per hour, or a full year of Open Studio access for $650!
Membership grants you free access to our studios any time during regular hours as long as space is available, and use of all the materials and tools in our general crafting area.
Drop-In Studio Sessions
