Learn about Photo Encaustics with Master Artist Jaimie Ladysh.
This 2 day workshop will cover the basics of working with
encaustics. We will go over tools and materials, safety, history,
and different techniques. You’ll learn what you need to set up an
encaustic art studio at home if you wish. You will work on three
images. We will explore four different media; colored pencils,
pastels, oil pastels, and egg tempra paint.
One image will be a learning piece; then you will work on two of
your own images. All materials are included (except your
images.)
It will be Saturday August 29 – Sunday August 30, 10-4.
