DESCRIPTION:You are invited to a reception and celebration of the unique artwork by local artist Lisa Urban on Friday\, July 11th from 6:00-8:00PM.\n“Welcome to the Forbidden PlanKnit\, where unique creatures and forms inhabit the land. These forms have evolved from simple thoughts to complex emotions that have taken over the barren landscapes. Early on\, these emotions were stagnant\, growing from the rocks and land that gave them life. But as time went on\, they found a desire to escape the place that gave them birth and explore the cosmos. Unraveling across all of time and space\, they have no destination\, nor do they have a plan. But they do know that\, now that they have escaped\, there is no turning back.”—This show will feature new paintings and light sculptures\, all exploring color\, light and the knitted form in creative environments. This will be a unique experience you won’t want to miss.\nThe show will be on display July 11th through mid-August during Degallery’s open hours.\nAll work will be available for sale.
