The Pastel Society of Southeast Texas (PSST) promotes the beauty of soft pastel painting, and its goal is to educate artists and art lovers in the
qualities of soft pastel as a fine art medium through the website, artist demonstrations, and member exhibitions.
PSST was founded in Houston, Texas, in 2004, and reorganized in 2013 by Founder Caroline Ratliff.
PSST welcomes all artists, from beginners to professional artists, who have exhibited nationally and won major awards. There is a great diversity in
their styles, experiences, and personalities. Each year, Member Only Shows allow individual artists to be exhibited in one place, and hopefully, some of
their paintings will appeal to your taste!
