DESCRIPTION:Workshop: Still Life in gouache with Natalia Andreeva\n\nDiscover the beauty of gouache painting. This workshop explores application methods while focusing on how to observe your subject—seeing light\, form\, and atmosphere. We’ll also dive into composition\, design\, value\, color\, and edges to bring your paintings to life.\n\nList of Suggested Materials:\n \n     Casein gouache paints (cool and warm primary colors\, plus white and black)\n \n     Brushes (recommended sizes: #2\, #4\, #10 and #12). I like flat and soft.\n \n     Paper towels\n \n     Plastic bag\n \n     Watercolor paper or board (preferred sizes: between 8”x10” and 12”x16”\, please bring a couple)\n \n     Practice paper for color studies \n \n     Sketchbook (8”x10”)\n \n     Pencil\n \n     White or grey palette\n \n     Portable airtight paint saver storage palette box (16 wells)\n \n     Clips or artist’s tape\n \n     Water container to wash your brushes\n \n     Tooth picks\n\n \n\n \nBIO\n Natalia Andreeva emerged as an artist from the rich and fertile artistic climate of Novosibirsk\, in Siberia after graduating from it’s most prestigious art college. During her classical education in the canons of European art she was greatly influenced by eastern philosophy. Consequentially\, Natalia’s work is a harmonious marriage between spontaneous expressions and classical realism.\nAmong Natalia’s favorite themes are exquisite landscapes\, depicting the subtlety of nature\, still life\, where vibrant shapes and internal dynamics are shown in contrast to the commonplace subjects\, and finally\, figures and portraits brimming with humanity\, and giving testament to the beauty and harmony of the human condition.\nNatalia holds Signature Membership Status in the American Impressionist Society\, and she was a President Tallahassee Watercolor Society 2023-2024\,  President Plein Air Painters of South-East 2025. \n \n*  *  *\nStatement\n“From my early childhood I was intrigued and fascinated by the enigma of art\, this magical process that turns “nothing” into the harmonic tune of chaos.
