You are invited to the Open Reception of the New Art Show Art SHOW “The Last Picture Show” with over forty abstract paintings by John W. Pinkerton. Mr. Pinkerton is a self-taught artist from Somerville, TX who has had numerous shows: Cats, Cats, Cats; Man (and Woman’s) Best Friend (with Jane DuBose); Pinkerton’s People; He Said, She Said (with Debbie Little- Wilson); and John Pinkerton. Mr. Pinkerton began painting after retirement from public education almost twenty years ago. From the beginning of his journey, he painted many animals as well as people. He considers his entering the world of nonrepresentational (abstract) art his greatest challenge. Admission is free. We are open to the public. Wine, food, and meeting with artist! The art show will continue until August.
