DeGallery and the Brazos Valley Rehabilitation Center proudly present the 2021 Christmas in Aggieland Ornament Reveal and Launch and your chance to admire and purchase past editions of the only Aggie-licensed, collector’s Christmas ornament in the Brazos Valley. Our 2021 Christmas in Aggieland ornament honors Reveille, the First Lady of Aggieland, and Texas A&M’s official mascot. Designed by local, Bryan-based artist Dr. Dary Dega, owner of Degallery Art Studio and Gallery, our 2021 Reveille ornament is both a tribute to Reveille IX, and a warm welcome to Reveille X. Miss Rev, as she is affectionately known on campus, is the highest-ranking member in the Corps of Cadets and wears five silver diamonds (the Corps Commander only has four). That means if Miss Rev falls asleep in a cadet’s bed, the cadet must find somewhere else to sleep since she outranks him. Tradition also dictates that if Reveille is in class and barks, the professor should end class because Miss Rev is bored. Enjoy this year’s Christmas in Aggieland ornament, “Reveille”, Merry Christmas, and Gig ‘em!   About Christmas in Aggieland ornaments: Benefiting patients of the BVRC, our Christmas in Aggieland ornament is the perfect Christmas gift that keeps on giving back to the community. A tradition started in 1993, these certified collectors’ 14k gold over brass beautiful ornaments are more than tokens of goodwill and holiday cheer. Similar to the traditions passed down by Aggie students throughout the years, the tradition of the Brazos Valley Rehabilitation Center has remained the same: to continue to provide children and adults with temporary injuries or disabilities the opportunity to lead independent lives. May the Spirit of Aggieland continues to fill your hearts! Your gift is making a difference in the lives of families in our community.
