Learning about colors and pigments
This course will introduce the many basic concepts of color as we rethink our existing notions. Each class starts with a presentation followed by a hands-on exercise.
Students will use paint and collage to understand how color interacts.
Get to know your pigments, learn to work with a restricted palette to create color harmony, and implement the use of color schemes on small paintings.
